The name comes from the smoothness that makes Ice Cream a winner with growers around the world. Why the Ferrari tag then? Because once this plant clicks into gear it takes off like a racing red sports car, fast and furious. And what a ride!

This is one of our new generation varieties, bred from classic original lines to produce a plant that comes with its own strong identity. An instant hit when we released this specialist strain, it also won the over the taste buds of the High Life cup judges who voted it in their top 3 two years in a row.

We spent our time breeding this beauty. The result is a plant that is perfectly suited for indoor grow operations thanks to rapid and healthy growth (8 - 9 weeks flowering time), and a general lack of stretching. This makes it an ideal option as a multi-branch plant and also makes it perform spectacularly as part of a Sea Of Green (SOG) operation.

Outdoors, Ice Cream may not be the most productive strain, but it is still popular with growers looking to benefit from that Indica strength. It performs satisfactorily in regions as far north as Canada, the UK and the Netherlands, but it is in the south that it adapts best - sunshine coaxing the best from its resinous buds.

Under the hood, the Ice Cream plant packs copious amounts of trichomes, tightly clustered, its heads lining up in regimental rows and glistening with a resinous glow. Like the ice cream you always wished for, expect the palette to dance with vanilla and pine while the aroma is pure old school skunk.

Der Name kommt von ihrem fein abgerundeten Geschmack, der Ice Cream auf der ganzen Welt beliebt gemacht hat. Aber warum dann der Ferrari-Vergleich? Weil diese Pflanze, sobald sie in Fahrt gekommen ist, wie ein roter Rennwagen abgeht, schnell und wild. Was für ein rasanter Ritt!

Ice Cream ist eine unserer New Generation-Sorten, gezüchtet aus genetischen Klassikern mit dem Ziel, eine Pflanze zu kreieren, die über ihre eigene, prägnante Identität verfügt. Die hochspezielle Sorte wurde auf Anhieb zum Hit und überzeugte auch die Geschmacksknospen der Richter beim High Life Cup, die sie drei Jahre in Folge in ihre Top 3 aufnahmen.

Die Züchtung dieser Schönheit hat einige Zeit in Anspruch genommen. Das Ergebnis ist eine Pflanze, die perfekt für den Indoor-Anbau geeignet ist, dank schnellem, gesundem Wachstum (bei 8-9 Wochen Blütezeit) und nur geringer Streckungsneigung. Dies macht sie zu einer idealen, reich verzweigenden Pflanze und lässt sie auch spektakulär gut in einem Sea of Green- (SOG-) Setup funktionieren.

Outdoor erweist sich Ice Cream unter Umständen nicht als die produktivste Sorte, ist aber dennoch beliebt bei Züchtern, die es auf ihre Indica-Stärke abgesehen haben. Sie performt zufriedenstellend in so nördlichen Gegenden wie Kanada, Großbritannien und den Niederlanden. Am wohlsten fühlt sich sich jedoch in südlichen Gefilden - dort, wo viel Sonnenschein das Beste aus ihren harzigen Buds herausholt.

Die Ice Cream-Pflanze hat üppige Mengen an Trichomen "unter der Haube", die sehr dicht gruppiert sind, ihre Drüsenköpfe sind wie Regimente in engen Reihen aufgestellt und glitzern in harzigem Schein. Ganz wie bei der Eissorte, die Du Dir schon immer gewünscht hast, tanzt die geschmackliche Palette zwischen Vanille und Kiefer hin und her, während der Geruch einem reinen oldschool Skunk-Aroma entspricht.
