Paradise Seeds has certainly produced a few classics over the years and a recent addition to the list has been the Tommy Chong’s™ Collection big hit sativa, L.A. Amnesia, which carries the power of two continents in its beautiful buds. So how to improve on such an outstanding plant? Dial up the Cali connection with a complement of Thin Mint Cookies to raise the terpene profile bar and accelerate the potency of Chocolate Wafflez to extra sensory perceptive Levels.
The predominant terpene in the profile of this variety is Alpha-Pinene and on first sampling, the herbal taste of Chocolate Wafflez swirls with characteristic Hazey notes at the fore, while the aftertaste is very much all about the Cookies. It’s the layers of complexity in between that will delight flavor fans – a hint of blackberry and tones of chocolate and mint – all wrapped up with an essence of creamy smoothness.
Chocolate Wafflez produces compact and well branched plants but show their sativa credentials during flowering with a surge of growth. Branches extend outwards, with the lateral branches puffing up with fat crystalline buds which are more indica in characteristic. The resinous credentials of this plant are already on display after just six weeks of flowering, with a royal resin coating that shimmers like silver before turning heavenly white to close the show at harvest time.
