The Shiva Shanti variety
Lineage: (Garlic Bud x Kush) x Skunk #1
Shiva Shanti, the legendary cannabis seeds created by Sensi Seeds. This family tree is from an Afghani landrace called "Garlic Bud" as well as a Kush strain and Skunk #1 and therefore contains mainly indica genetics. Shiva Shanti was bred to celebrate the establishment of the Sensi Seed Bank genetics and is named after the two twin daughters of founder Ben Dronkers. A popular classic in the Sensi Seeds range since the 1990s.
With its intense, versatile flavors and impressively fast growth rate and rather compact, bushy shape, Shiva Shanti is a good choice for beginners and even experienced growers. Due to its robustness, it will produce good results even if it is not cared for perfectly.
Tips
Despite the very short flowering period under artificial light, Shiva Shanti will need to be grown outdoors in Central Europe until around the beginning/mid of October, so it should not be grown at altitudes that are too high or foggy. The plants remain rather compact throughout and are therefore also suitable for low growing spaces or greenhouses.
Regular seeds (yield male and female plants) are a good choice if you want to create your own seeds or mother plant, or if you want to experiment with your own crosses. As an “old school” genetic, Shiva Shanti should not be missing from seed collections.
